Just an optimal selection for a weekend jaunt in Rye, great value for money. The sirloin steak we had was the best we've ever tasted. Be aware of low ceilings in the bathroom if you're tall.

Charming stay with excellent breakfast
I had a very comfortable two nights with a spacious room that offered lovely views over the Sussex countryside. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring locally sourced ingredients that were freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making our stay even more enjoyable. the bathroom facilities could use some improvement, as there were minor issues with the shower.

The room was quaint but a bit tight, with a sloping floor adding some character. Views were great! The bed was comfy with nice linen, but it felt outdated. Shower was okay, just a bit worn out. The little table by the window was a nice touch, though. it had that vintage charm but needed some upgrades.

Not what I expected
We stayed for 2 nights, but the whole dinner experience was a bit of a disaster. A guy at the next table got sick, and despite that being super awkward for us, the staff didn’t seem to care much. The bar area was nice, but the service was definitely lacking. Disappointed with how things were handled.

We had a cozy small double room for two nights and truly appreciated the soft carpet and comfortable bed. The tea and coffee setup was a nice touch. Enjoying the quiet atmosphere and relaxing on the sun terrace while sipping our morning drinks was just perfect. The only thing we missed was a bit more hanging space for clothes, but it didn't spoil our great experience at all. 😊

Cozy Stay with Stunning Views!
Had a relaxing 2-night stay. Loved our small double room with beautiful views. It was so quiet, perfect for a getaway. The location was awesome, just a short walk to the sights! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only thing was the bar area could use some more seating at peak times.
